Emmanuelle Martin

With a baccalaureate in dance, Emmanuelle studied in France, the United States and Canada. She worked with artists such as Bruno Guillore (Hofesh Shechter), Rudy Bryans (Opéra de Marseille), Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell (Alvin Ailey), Tom Weinberger (Batsheva) and Victor Quijada (RUBBERBAND). Specialized in contemporary and urban dance, Emmanuelle performs on four continents (Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America) and is associated with the works of Eva Kolarova, Kim-Sanh Châu, Johanne Gour, Sébastien Cliche, Céline Dion, without forgetting Les dix commandements, Imprudanses, Ampleman Danse, Valetto Dance Company, PPS Danse, Saxon Fraser or the Opéra de Québec… In 2017-2018, she joined P7:1SMA and Maya Dance Theatre, Singaporean companies with which she will explore traditional dances from Southeast Asia. Currently, she works for Trip the Light Fantastic, Bouge de là, Van Grimde Corps Secrets, maribé – sors de ce corps, Audrey Gaussiran, Bettina Hoffmann and Sinha Danse. She also choreographed in various projects, including her solo Encounter and the trio Chimion, both presented at the Quartier Danses Festival in September 2021.
