Born in Montreal, Jean-Mathieu Ledoux discovered dance and gymnastics at the age of 8 in the small school in his neighbourhood. He quickly developed a taste for gymnastics at the Centre Pierre-Charbonneau. At the age of 11, he emigrated to Spain and became familiar with Latin dances such as flamenco, merengue, bachata, salsa, rumba and waltz. For the first time, he was introduced to contemporary dance. A few years later, he returned to Montreal and began hip-hop dancing at the New-Dance Studio school. He joined the school’s troupe and participated in several projects such as that of Karv the Anti-Gala, in Vrak.tv. At the age of 20, he began his training at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (EDCMTL) and graduated in 2013 at the age of 24. Passionate about electronic music, he also seeks to create his own sound. He explores through composition and mastering, as well as the different ways of composing, listening, and even seeing music.
