Annik Hamel / interprète collaboratrice

Trained in contemporary dance, Annik Hamel has been practising art for 25 years on Montreal and international stages. She works for more than fifty creators known for their contribution to this discipline, including Jean-Pierre Perreault, Paul-André Fortier, Daniel Léveillé, Ginette Laurin, Natsu Nakajima (Japan), Françoise Sullivan, Sizan Marshall (USA), James Kudelka, Karine Pontiès (Belgium), Ae Soon Ahn (Korea), Danièle Desnoyers, José Navas, Estelle Clareton and Martin Bélanger. She has been working with Montréal Danse since 1987.

His personal projects also lead him to orchestrate and interpret «C’est l’histoire d’une femme», composed of pieces by Paola de Vasconcelos, Wajdi Mouawad and José Navas as part of the Volet Interprète de Danse-Cité. In theatre, she collaborated with Wajdi Mouawad, Denis Marleau and participated in Pol Pelletier’s DOJO. In cinema, she starred in the films of Gilles Noël, Jean Chabot, Mario Côté and Raymond St-Jean.
