Révélations (2014)

In this solo choreographed for Inés Boza in Barcelona and now for Annik Hamel in Montréal, Marie Béland questions the search for “authenticity” on the stage. Through the process of creating the solo, she reveals the rituals that may or may not lead to this “state of grace”. Béland aims to dissect representation by staging the work of the dancer that is typically obscured.
